I’m not sure a) why this is at all a news story, b) why it is highly featured on our local newspaper, nor c) why a headline has to be written like this: “Pa. dad denies playing ninja when son, 4, alone.” The only thing I understand about this story is that if somebody saw him doing it, then he obviously wasn’t a real ninja.

You can’t play ninja well if a 4 year old is following you around saying, “What are you doing? What’s that thing? Can I throw that? I have to go potty.” etc etc etc…

Funny that the guy thought jogging was a better story for the police than “playing ninja”.
And any good father knows that if you use the long distance baby monitoring system you can avoid a lot of these troubles. You know… before you head out for the night you call your home phone with your cell phone, and place the home phone receiver by the sleeping child.
